BroLab members Rahul Alexander, Jonathan Brand, and Adam Brent will be joined by curator Jeanne Brasile for an artist talk and book signing this Saturday May 18th at Gallery Aferro from 3 to 5 pm where an installation of Stack and Rack is currently on view.
The event celebrates the launch of our inaugural book, BroLab: Some Work Until Now, published by Seton Hall University and made possible by a generous grant by Elizabeth Firestone Graham Foundation. Produced on the occasion of Stack and Rack during last year's Newark Open Doors festival, Some Work Until Now relays an overall sense of our collaborative practice and tracks back our projects over the last three years beginning with Stack and Rack. Also included are essays by curators Jeanne Brasile (The Art of Possibility) and Heng-Gil Han (The Panoramic Man) alongside an interview of BroLab by the Bronx Museum's Sergio Bessa (The Politics of Friendship).
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at Gallery Aferro and refreshments provided!
